WHAT IS A SCALP FACIAL?
A facial but for the scalp. It’s a customized multi-step process that deeply cleanses, nourishes and treats the scalp. At True crown head spa we utilize a holistic approach to optimum scalp and hair health .
HOW LONG SHOULD I EXPECT TO BE AT MY APPOINTMENT?
For first time clients expect to be at the spa for 2 hours . After your first visit, 1 1/2 hours.
WHAT IS YOUR BOOKING LIMIT?
We can only accommodate one guest at a time in our private room for our scalp facial; as such, multiple appointments would have to be either back-to-back or at different times/dates.
IS IT SAFE FOR EXPECTING MOTHERS?
We use natural products that are 100% safe. We encourage you to ask your doctor for any limitations you may have.
DO YOU PERFORM THE SCALP FACIAL ON VIRGIN/TEXTURED HAIR?
The hair itself is actually not a concern. At the end of the day, this treatment can be used on any hair type as this is a scalp treatment. As long as you have a scalp, we can perform a scalp facial.
CAN I DO A SCALP FACIAL WHILE WEARING EXTENSIONS?
We cannot perform services on customers while wearing extensions, braids, or sew-ins as these obstruct access to the scalp and pores. We do encourage you to get a treatment before/after wearing your extensions.
WHAT IF I JUST COLORED/KERATIN MY HAIR?
All of our ingredients are safe for any kind of treated hair! However, if you have recently done any kind of chemical services within a week before your appointment, there is a chance that the color/keratin may fade during our detoxing process. Therefore, we recommend customers to wait at least a week after any kind of hair treatment before receiving a scalp facial.
WILL I LEAVE WITH WET HAIR?
That is up to you. We cannot dry and style your hair, however we do have a hair drying station that you will have access to for 30 minutes after your appointment if you wish to dry and style your own hair. We provide hair ties for anyone who wishes to use those as well.
I’M BALD. CAN I RECEIVE THIS TREATMENT?
Yes! This is a scalp treatment. If you have a scalp, we can treat it!
DO I NEED TO TIP?
Tipping is not expected and is solely at the discretion of the client.
WHICH PAYMENT METHOD DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept cash, credit/debit cards, venmo or zelle.
